A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVISED 2016

ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (AIP) OF OLONGAPO CITY

            WHEREAS, Section 109 (a) of Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code, provides the functions of the Local Development Council (LDC);

            WHEREAS, the Olongapo Local Development Council passed a resolution entitled: “A Resolution Indorsing The Revised CY 2016 Annual Investment Program of Olongapo City” on July 29, 2016;

            WHEREAS, the said indorsed revision of the Annual Investment Program of Olongapo City includes the following additional projects/activities for 2016:

            RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to approve as it hereby approves the Revised 2016 Annual Investment Program of Olongapo City.

            Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished to the Department of Budget and Management for their reference.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2013 ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM OF THE CITY OF OLONGAPO, AS APPROVED AND SUBMITTED BY THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

WHEREAS, the Local Development Council is mandated to: formulate long-term, medium-term, and annual socio-economic development plans and polices; formulate the medium-term and annual public investment programs; appraise and prioritize socio-economic development programs and projects; and formulate local investment incentives to promote the inflow and direction of private investment capital as provided by Section 109 of the Local Government Code of the Philippines;

WHEREAS, the members of the Local Development Council of the City of Olongapo had convened and formulated the 2013 Annual Investment Program on November 23, 2012, held at the FMA Hall, Olongapo City Hall Complex;

WHEREAS, the formulation of the 2013 AIP is a good governance practice of transparency and an optimum utilization of scarce public resources;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Gina Gulanes-Perez, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to approve as it hereby approves the 2013 Annual Investment Program of the City of Olongapo, as approved and submitted by the Local Development Council.

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE INDORSEMENT BY THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL OF THE SUPPLEMENTAL ANNUAL INVESTMENT PLAN (AIP) FOR THE PRIORITY INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS FOR 2012-2013, IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW

WHEREAS, as embodied in the Olongapo Local Development Council Resolution indorsing the Supplemental Annual Investment Plan for the Priority Infrastructure Projects of 2012-2013, was duly approved on August 30, 2012 by the members of the Local Development Council;

WHEREAS, the action of the Local Development Council is sanctioned under Section 287 on the Republic Act No. 7160 and Articles 383 (b) of its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR) and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Joint Circular No. 1, Series of 2005 with respect to the development fund which is to be allocated for uses as those designated by the Local Development Council;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Gina Gulanes-Perez, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to adopt, as it hereby adopts the indoresement by the Local Development Council of the Supplemental Annual Investment Plan (AIP) for the Priority Infrastructure Projects for 2012-2013, in manner consistent with law.
