A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE  HONORABLE CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. TO ENTER INTO A JOINT POLE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF OLONGAPO WITH INNOVE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. REPRESENTED BY MS. EDITH C. SANTIAGO, HEAD, LOGISTICS AND ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT FOR THE POLE ATTACHMENT WITHIN ITS FRANCHISE AREAS FOR JOINT USE

WHEREAS, Innove Communications, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Globe Telecom, Incorporated with principal office at Valero Telepark, III Valero Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City, Philippines, submitted a Request To Attach (RTA) form with the detailed drawings map/plan for the cable extension project in the Olongapo City area;

WHEREAS, with its network modernization covering Bataan and Olongapo City areas, Innove Communications, Inc.  is planning to attach fifty-nine (59) poles  which will aid in the seamless cellular coverage and accessibility for the subscribers;

WHEREAS, Innove Communications, Inc., is requesting the City of Olongapo a Notice To Proceed with its RTA, likewise submitted pertinent documents which were previously inspected by its contractor Huawei Technologies Philippines, Inc. and the Public Utilities Department (PUD);

WHEREAS, with its well-known capability of providing world-class telecommunication system, subscribers in the city and adjoining areas will be assured of uninterrupted link to personal and business communications;

 NOW, THEREFORE, on joint motion of City Councilors Eduardo J. Piano and Gina Gulanes-Perez, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled  to  authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. to enter into a Joint Pole Agreement on behalf of the City Of  Olongapo with Innove Communications, Inc. represented by Ms. Edith C. Santiago, Head, Logistics and Administration Support for the pole attachment within its franchise areas for joint use.

Let copies of this Resolution be furnished to Innove Communications, Inc., Public Utilities Department, Business Permit and Licensing Office, Olongapo City Telecom and IT Board and the National Telecommunications for their information and guidance.
