A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR, HON. ROLEN C. PAULINO

TO ENTER, EXECUTE  AND SIGN  THE  RENEWAL OF THE MEMORANDUM

OF AGREEMENT (MOA) FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (JLGMH), THIS CITY WITH METRO SUBIC COLLEGES, INCORPORATED, REPRESENTED BY ITS PRESIDENT, DR. TERESITA ORTIN-OLIVER  FOR  THE  AFFILIATION AND TRAINING OF ITS STUDENTS PURSUING COURSES IN NURSING, RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY, MIDWIFERY, NURSING AIDE, CAREGIVER AND MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY, IN A MANNER

CONSISTENT WITH LAW

WHEREAS, the James L Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH) is a licensed tertiary care hospital of at least 300 bed capacity and 80 annual occupancy rate per month;

WHEREAS, the Metro Subic Colleges, Inc. is a tertiary level learning institution who accepts enrollees under the duly authorized and recognized health science and related programs of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED);

WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council Resolution No.79, Series of 2011 duly approved on 12 September 2011, Metro Subic Colleges, Incorporated as represented by its President, Dr. Teresita Ortin-Oliver, requested and entered into an affiliation agreement with the city for the training, and on bahalf of, its students pursuing courses in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Midwifery, Nursing Aide and Caregiver; 

WHEREAS, Metro Subic Colleges, Incorporated, has sought the renewal of its affiliation agreement with the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, this City, with its additional course in  Medical Technology,  while binding itself to comply with all pertinents requirements set under local laws and the Department of Health issuances;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of  City Councilor Eduardo G. Guerrero, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to athorize, as it hereby authorizes the  City Mayor, Hon. Rolen C. Paulino, to enter, execute and sign the renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for and on behalf of the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital(JLGMH) with Metro Subic Colleges, Incorporated, represented by its President, Dr. Teresita Ortin-Oliver for the affiliation and training of its students pursuing courses in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Midwifery, Nursing Aide, Caregiver and Medical Technology, in a manner consistent with law.
