A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MR. MICHAEL BRYAN G. COLOMA FOR HIS DEED LEADING TO THE RECOVERY OF MONEY AMOUNTING TO ELEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED PESOS (PHP11,200.00) LAST FEBRUARY 2, 2014

            WHEREAS, an incident of lost and found money amounting to Eleven Thousand Two Hundred Pesos (P 11,200.00) was reported at the Office of Traffic Management and Public Safety (OTMPS) last 2 February 2014;

            WHEREAS, together with Traffic Enforcement Officer Jayson Madolara, Mr. Michael Bryan G. Coloma’s participation in the retrieval of the said amount was verified;

            WHEREAS, Mr. Michael Bryan G. Coloma, a Gordon College student residing at #86 Gemini Street, 3-F Sta. Rita, was with his mother when they found the money while riding in a motorcycle near the Fire Department on the said date. They immediately reported it to TEO Madolara who was then the officer-on-duty, made a statement regarding the incident, and surrendered the said cash to the authorities;

            WHEREAS, the laudable act of Mr. Coloma not succumbing to utilizing the money for his own benefit serves as an inspiration to Olongapeños, instilling a sense of honesty, morality, and social responsibility;

NOW, THEREFORE , with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to commend, as it hereby commends, Mr. Michael Bryan G. Coloma for his deed leading to the recovery of money amounting to Eleven Thousand Pesos (PhP11,200.00) last February 2, 2014.
