A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JUSTINE CARL C. ADLAWAN FOR WINNING 1^ST PRIZE – CATEGORY 2 ON THE 2014 NATIONAL CHILDREN’S MONTH CELEBRATION SIPAT BATA PHOTO CONTEST, ORGANIZED BY THE COUNCIL FOR THE WELFARE OF CHILDREN

            WHEREAS, the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) launched the 2014 National Children’s Month Celebration in October 2014 through the Sipat Bata Photo Contest to call attention to further uplift the children’s rights and privileges;

            WHEREAS, the CWC received photo entries from different public and private schools in the country where a panel of judges spent time to carefully review each entry and selected those that best represent the program;

            WHEREAS, Justine Carl C. Adlawan, a talented participant from Olongapo City, garnered the top honors as the 1^st Prize Winner for Category 2 of  the said competition;

            WHEREAS, the City commends the artistic prowess and contribution of Mr. Adlawan for bringing accolades for the City at the national level;

            WHEREAS, such award encourages our young populace to engage in worthwhile activities toward the development of arts and skills, not just for personal growth but to spur their involvement in community-based programs and projects;

            NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

            RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to commend, as it hereby commends Justine Carl C. Adlawan for winning 1^st Prize – Category 2 on the 2014 National Children’s Month Celebration : Sipat Bata Photo Contest, organized by the Council for the Welfare of Children.
