A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND RECOGNIZING OLONGAPO CITY SCHOOLS PAPERS “THE HEADLINERS”, “THE VICTORS” AND “ANG BUKLOD” FOR WINNING VARIOUS AWARDS IN THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED NATIONAL
SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE (NSPC) HELD IN TAGUIG CITY
WHEREAS, the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) is the highest competition for journalism in both private and public elementary and high schools in the Philippines;
WHEREAS, in the recently concluded National Schools Press Conference held on April 12-17, 2015 at Taguig University, Taguig City, Olongapo campus journalists once again proved that they can compete nationwide and prevail with flying colors;
WHEREAS, out of Two Hundred School Papers that competed nationwide, Olongapo City School Papers “The Headliners”, “The Victors” and “Ang Buklod” School Papers achieved the most number of awards, which are as follows:

3. Ang Buklod OCNHS Maritess Alcantara 7th place, Best in Layout Design (Filipino)
WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo is very proud of this hard-earned achievement;
NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate and recognize, as it hereby congratulates and recognizes Olongapo City Schools Papers “The Headliners”, “The Victors” and “Ang Buklod” for winning various awards in the recently concluded National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) held in Taguig City;
