In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Rexy Gregorio-Cruz with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED,AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to enact the following Ordinance.

ORDINANCE NO. 124 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 96, SERIES OF 2003 KNOWN AS "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PROPOSED COMPROMISE AGREEMENT ON THE PAYMENT OF DELINQUENT REAL PROPERTY TAXES AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH DELINQUENT REAL PROPERTY TAXPAYERS"

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSIO"N' ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. Section l.a. of Ordinance No. 96, Series of 2003 is hereby amended as follows:

a. That twenty five percent (25%) of the delinquent real property tax must be paid upon the signing of the Compromise Agreement and the balance to be paid on or before June 30, 2004.

SECTION 2. That the City Treasurer is authorized to enter into the said Agreement and shall thereafter endorse the same to the City Mayor for approval subject to the ratification of the City Council.

SECTION 3. That copies of the approved Compromise Agreement will be submitted to the City Assessor who will annotate the same on the Tax Declarations.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
