In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Gregorio A. Manglicmot, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 116 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIFTEEN MILLION TWO HUNDRED FORTY FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FORTY PESOS AND 66/100 (PHP15,245,540.66) FOR THE OLONGAPO CITY COMMERCIAL AND CULTURAL CENTER

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Fifteen Million Two Hundred Forty Five Thousand Five Hundred Forty Pesos and 66/100 (php15,245,540.66) is hereby appropriated for the major mechanical and electrical equipment and protection control system of the Olongapo City Commercial and Cultural Center chargeable against a bank loan to wit:

1. Continuation of Mechanical Works (Ground Floor) with exception
a.Water Cooled Packaged Air Conditioner (1 unit) - P5,923,092.50
b.Bottle Type Cooling Tower (2 units) - 1,293,380.00
c.End Suction Centrifugal Water Pump 3000PM
(3 units) - 834,069.66
2. Miscellaneous Expenses (Mechanical) - 666,562.50
3. Consumable Materials (Mechanical) - 518,437.50
4. Continuation of Fire Protection System - 1,393,184.00
5. Ventilation Works (FreshlExhaust Air Ducting System) with exception 897,750.00
6. Electrical Works Finishes with Exceptions 3,719,064.00

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated October 07, 2003 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated October 08, 2003 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
