WHEREAS, Iram New Cabalan has a franchise for motorized tricycles;

WHEREAS, the prices of gasoline and oil and other spare parts for motorized tricycles increase almost every week thereby, rendering unprofitable the motorized tricycle business;

WHEREAS, operators and drivers will even have only break even income;

WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted Septembe 16, 2005 at Iram plaza attended by its residents from Pinagpala to Payudpod with operators and drivers of Zone 6

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 65
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE INCREASE IN FARE FOR THE MOTORIZED TRICYCLE AT ZONE 6, IRAM, NEW CABALAN YEAR 2005


BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The authorized fare from

Pinagpala to Purok 5 ½ - - - - - PhP7.00/passenger
Plaza to Purok 5 ½ - - - - - 8.00/passenger
Payudpod to Purok 5 ½ - - - - - 8.50/passenger

SECTION 2. The payment of fare adjustment fee of PhP300.00 is hereby suspended.

SECTION 3. Any ordinance or parts thereof which may be contradicting to this ordinance is hereby amended or repealed.

SECTION 4. Fare matrix duly approved and signed by the City Mayor shall be displayed conspicuously inside the vehicle.

SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.

SECTION 6. That copy of this ordinance be furnished the Traffic Management Board for their information and guidance.
