RESOLUTION NO. 105
(Series of 2005)

A RESOLUTION RESERVING A VACANT LOT AT DAMSITE, PUROK I-A, SIBUL, WEST BAJAC-BAJAC, THIS CITY AS PROPOSED SITE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BASKETBALL COURT WITH METES AND BOUNDS


WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of West Bajac-Bajac expressed thru Resolution No. 19, Series of 2003 their request to declare the unoccupied vacant lot at Damsite, Purok I-A Sibul as reserved site for Basketball Court and other purposes;

WHEREAS, residents particularly the youth living at the Damsite, Purok I-A Sibul area are clamoring to have their own basketball court for sports, leisure games and other purposes including future evacuation center during typhoons, flashfloods and other calamities;

WHEREAS, the said location has been officially surveyed and the lot plan of which was prepared by the City Assessor’s Office under the supervision of Engr. Elmer Mercado assisted by Mr. Michael Pusing and Ponciano S. Bordeos the metes and boundaries were identified, to wit:


N-W (21.50) – Occupied by Diaz
N-W (12.13) - Occupied by lot
S-E (21.50) - Occupied by Daduya
S-W (12.13) - National Road


WHEREAS, Sec. 16 of the Local Government Code of 1991 clearly specifies the right of the Government to exercise power necessary, appropriate and efficient governance essential to the promotion of general welfare of its constituents and social well-being of the people;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, sponsored by Councilors Bella P. Asuncion, Marey Beth D. Marzan, Angelina B. Andrada, Brian Patrick H. Gordon, Anselmo A. Aquino, Edwin J. Piano, Gina G. Perez, Napoleon F. Capistrano and Robine Rose C. Buenafe with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;


RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to reserve, as it hereby reserves a vacant lot at Damsite Purok I-A, Sibul, West Bajac-Bajac, this City as proposed site for the Construction of Basketball Court and for other purposes.


RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of the surveyed sketch plan, Brgy. Resolution No. 19, Series of 2003 of West Bajac-Bajac and a Certification from the Barangay Captain of West Bajac-Bajac that the said lot is free from any encumbrances be made as integral parts of this Resolution.


Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the Office of the City Planning and Development Office, City Assessors Office and the Brgy. Council of West Bajac-Bajac, this City for their information and record..
