RESOLUTION NO. 180
(Series of 2005)

A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE CITY’S DEEPEST CONDOLENCES
TO THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF MR. PAQUITO C. ADAO, PUROK
LEADER OF BARANGAY STA. RITA, OLONGAPO CITY


WHEREAS, Mr. Paquito C. Adao, one of the City’s enduring Purok Leaders from Barangay Sta. Rita, peacefully joined his Creator on December 21, 2005 at the age of 70;

WHEREAS, one of the most loved and respected community leaders of Sta. Rita, “Purok Adao” , as he is fondly called, had devoted his life for public service from the day he assumed his position as Purok Leader in 1969 up to his last breath;

WHEREAS, an implementer of City and barangay programs at Julo, Tabacuhan, “Gobernador”, the named tagged by then City Mayor and now Senator Richard J. Gordon, will always be remembered of his coordination skills where through his initiatives the entire Barangay Sta. Rita was greatly benefited;

WHEREAS, he will always be remembered as an ardent supporter of the administration’s leadership and an all-out volunteer whose dedication and devotion to public welfare are highly commendable;

WHEREAS, a responsible father to his eight children, their beacon and source of strength. Mr. Adao’s endearing presence will truly be missed;

WHEREAS, the City joins their family in appreciating the life that she lived well and prays that they graciously move on in this moment of loss;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to express, as it hereby expresses the City’s deepest condolences to the bereaved family of Mr. Paquito C. Adao, Purok Leader of Barangay Sta. Rita, Olongapo City.

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the bereaved family of Mr. Paquito C. Adao for their information and record.
