RESOLUTION NO. 159
(Series of 2006)

A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING DR. ELISEO R. REBLANDO AS MEMBER OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SUBIC BAY WATER AND SEWERAGE COMPANY, INC. TO REPLACE COUNCILOR ANSELMO A. AQUINO


WHEREAS, Dr. Eliseo R. Reblando was designated for membership on the Board of Directors of the Subic Bay Water and Sewerage Company, Inc. vice Councilor Anselmo A. Aquino who tendered his resignation last July 29, 2006;

WHEREAS, Dr. Reblando holds the degree of Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. He rendered medical service to all, especially the less fortunate, commended by various Non-Governmental Organizations such as Philippine Medical Association, Dr. Carmelita Cuyugan Presidential Award for Community Service and UST Alumni Association. He was also the recipient of the 1995 Ulirang Ama and 1996 Gintong Ama Awardee for Community Service;

WHEREAS, Dr. Eliseo R. Reblando was nominated by no less than the City Mayor, Hon. James Gordon, Jr. for membership on the said board;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to confirm, as it hereby confirms Dr. Eliseo R. Reblando as Member of the Board of Directors of Subic Bay Water and Sewerage Company, Inc., to replace Councilor Anselmo A. Aquino.
