In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 37
(Series of 2006)

AN ORDINANCE REVERTING THE SUM OF TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP20,000.00) FOR THE PURCHASE OF A RECORDING MACHINE TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE ONE AT THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD SESSION HALL FROM THE ITEM ADVERTIZING EXPENSE UNDER MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES (MOOE) TO THE ITEM OFFICE EQUIPMENT UNDER CAPITAL OUTLAY BOTH UNDER THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The sum of Twenty Thousand Pesos (PhP20,000.00) is hereby reverted from the item Advertising Expense under the Maintenance & Other Operating Expenses to the item Office Equipment under Capital Outlay, both under the Sangguniang Panlungsod for the purchase of a recorder to replace the defective one being used at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. dated July 25, 2006 and the letter of the Honorable Vice Mayor Rolen C. Paulino, dated July 14, 2006 are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
