RESOLUTION NO. 01
(Series of 2007)

A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SORROW OVER
THE PASSING AWAY OF MR. DIMASALANG E. TUASON
AND CONDOLING WITH HIS BEREAVED FAMILY

WHEREAS, Mr. Dimasalang E. Tuason, former Deputy Chief of the Property and Supply Division of the Olongapo City Treasury Department as well as Officer-In-Charge of the Public Utilities Department joined his creator on January 1, 2007 at the age of 67;

WHEREAS, his 21 years in the City Government was remarkably significant because of his commendable leadership when his team implemented effective measures leading to the accelerated increase of tax collection during his time;

WHEREAS, Mr.Tuason was highly complimented for his outstanding performance as the Officer in Charge of the PUD for his dedication to duty, efficiency and untiring efforts that paved way for the dramatic boost in the electric bill collection for the City, the first time in years, that it exceeded the billing of the National Power Corporation during that period;

WHEREAS, after a productive stint in the City, Mr. Tuason availed of his early retirement, but again inked notable strides as one of the consultants of the Seaport Department and then of the Freeport Services Corporation, at the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority;

WHEREAS, the City Government looks back to his finest contributions in the City as a public servant and shares with the grief of the Tuason Family for having lost their beacon;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the members of Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to express, as it hereby expresses sorrow over the passing away of Mr. Dimasalang E. Tuason and condoles with his bereaved family

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the bereaved family of Mr. Dimasalang E. Tuason for their information and record.
