RESOLUTION NO. 22
(Series of 2007)

A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING JURENCE MENDOZA FOR WINNING THE DUNLOP NATIONAL AGE GROUP TENNIS TOURNAMENT HELD LAST FEBRUARY 4 - 6, 2007


WHEREAS, young tennis seeds from Olongapo topped the recently held Dunlop National Age Group Tennis Tournament last February 4 to 6, 2007 at the Manila Polo Club, Makati City;

WHEREAS, top seed Jurence Mendoza, triumphed her hard-fought matches and emerged as the champion in the 12 years and under category of the said competition;

WHEREAS, the City is proud that another Olongapeño added feather to its cap in the arena of sports;

WHEREAS, Mendoza’s discipline and sturdy values as a young athlete will serve as an inspiration to the young populace of the City to involve in worthwhile activities such as sports;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate, as it hereby congratulates Jurence Mendoza for winning the Dunlop National Age Group Tennis Tournament held last February 4 – 6, 2007.

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished Jurence Mendoza for her information and record.
