A RESOLUTION COMMENDING OUTGOING COUNCILOR CYNTHIA G. CAJUDO FOR HER INVALUABLE
CONTRIBUTIONS AS CITY COUNCILOR OF OLONGAPO

WHEREAS, Olongapo City renders its highest salute to the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod who served their distinguished terms with utmost dedication;

WHEREAS, Honorable Cynthia G. Cajudo rendered outstanding service in diverse and multiple fields of endeavor. As the leader of the majority block, her wisdom, character and understanding on wide array of concerns significantly armed the City of its legislative back-up for its developments. Her contributions in the passage of landmark measures and her initiatives in the implementation of the same proved the indubitable partnership between the executive and the legislative that led in meeting the increasing needs of the Olongapeños effectively;

WHEREAS, the Councilor who had conquered two decades of the Olongapo political landscape, Kagawad Cajudo, in this term, chaired major committees of governance such as, Finance and Appropriations, Rules and Privileges and Transportation. She nurtured her stint no less as a trailblazer of the said committees, hovering the difficulties and surmounting the challenges;

WHEREAS, a political voyage traced back from a childhood where Christian values, generosity and ministry were inculcated in their family, Councilor Cajudo strengthened her grip to biblical principles, earning the trust and the love of the Olongapo people – the secret of her staying power;

WHEREAS, the kind of leader that bears fruit wherever she is planted, the City bids Councilor Cajudo farewell to her task as a councilor and welcomes her leadership to the next greater responsibility as its Vice-Mayor, which will soon mirror the collective capability of the Sanggunian in showcasing the many bests of the City;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to commend, as it hereby commends outgoing Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo for her invaluable contributions as City Councilor of Olongapo.
