A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER INTO MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DILG) THROUGH THE BUREAU OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENT (BLGD) REGARDING THE LEGISLATIVE TRACKING AND PERFORMANCE MONITORING SYSTEM PROJECT (LTPMS) AND SANGGUNIAN INFORMATION SYSTEM (SIS)

WHEREAS, the Bureau of Local Government Development (BLGD) is mandated to assist in strengthening the capabilities of local government units particularly their administrative, technical and fiscal capabilities to enable them to effectively deliver basic services to its constituents;

WHEREAS, BLGD has developed a computer-based administrative system under the Legislative Tracking and Performance and Monitoring System Project (LTPMSP) and the Sanggunian Information System (SIS) which can be installed and implemented in all local government units;

WHEREAS, the computer based legislative tracking system is one tool of improving the administrative capacities of LGUs for effective governance;

WHEREAS, the City of Olongapo is desirous to adopt the said application system and its accompanying policies for prompt delivery of public service;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,


RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor to enter into Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) through the Bureau of Local Government Development (BLGD) regarding the Legislative Tracking and Performance Monitoring System Project (LTPMS) and Sanggunian Information System (SIS).
