A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO, EXECUTE, AND SIGN FOR AND ON BEHALF OF JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (JLGMH), THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE IMS WELLTH CARE, INC. (IWC) AS REGARDS TO ITS HEALTH CARE PROGRAM IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW

           

WHEREAS, IWC is engaged in soliciting enrollees (hereafter, referred to as “Member”) in its healthcare program, (hereafter, referred to as “Health Care”) consisting of out-patient, in-patient and preventive health care;

            WHEREAS, James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital accommodates health insurance providers which cater to patients who voluntarily avail of health insurance from private firms, either independent of or in addition to their Philippine Health Insurance (Philhealth);

WHEREAS, the hospital is willing to fully cooperate with IWC in the dispensation of needed medical services and facilitates to IWC in the dispensation of needed medical services and facilitates to IWC members under the terms and conditions set forth herein.

            NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Eduardo G. Guerrero, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

            RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor Rolen C. Paulino to enter into, execute, and sign For and on behalf  of James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the IMS Wellth Care, Inc. (IWC), as regards to its Health Care Program in a manner consistent with law.

WHEREAS, the City’s leadership deem that a ratified agreement is necessary for the full implementation of the program;

            RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to ratify, as it hereby ratifies the Memorandum of Agreement between the Olongapo City Government represented by its City Mayor, Honorable Rolen C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO AND SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS, ZAMBALES, 2ND DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE (DPWH)  RELATIVE TO THE INSTALLATION OF LAMP POSTS/ STREET LAMPS ALONG THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY OF THE CITY

WHEREAS, the City's leadership believes that adequate outdoor lighting ably addresses security concerns and helps maintain peace and order;

WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Public Works and Highways Zambales 2nd District Engineering Office (DPWH) for the installation of lamp posts/ street lamps  along the National Highway is deemed in order, where funds for the 12 kilometer streetlights and 8 kilometer poles will come from  the national government, while the 4 kilometer poles can be sourced out from local government funds;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Emerito Linus D. Bacay, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the SangguniangPanlungsod, present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor, Honorable Rolen C. WHEREAS,  Olongapo City endeavors to be an environment where business, tourism  and trade can through our City's  own and unique attractions to draw local and foreign tourists alike to cater to different budgets and levels of comfort.

WHEREAS, along with this thrust are marketing concepts to create  sources of revenues and raise funds for  City projects to benefit the constituents of Olongapo;

WHEREAS, one of the strategies is to lease a portion of Olongapo City Public market for advertisement/marketing /product promotion activities;

WHEREAS, for this venture, the City's leadership deems that a Memorandum of Agreement to be entered into with Holistic Marketing Services Communications Firm Corporation (Holistic) is in order and shall provide the best benefits for the people of Olongapo;

NOW, THEREFORE, on the motion of City Councilor Alreuela M. Bundang-Ortiz, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the SangguniangPanlungsod in session assembled to authorize as it  hereby authorizes the City Mayor, Honorable  Rolen C.
