In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Gina G. Perez, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 11
(Series of 2008)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SIXTEEN MILLION TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P16,200,000.00) TO THE ITEM MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES AND CAPITAL OUTLAY OF ESMO TO BE TAKEN FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND (2008 IRA ADJUSTMENT) .

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Sixteen Million Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (P16,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from reversion from the unappropriated balance of the general fund (2008 IRA Adjustment) for the item maintenance and other operating expenses and capital outlay of ESMO.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter of request of Hon. Mayor James Gordon, Jr. and a letter of Ms. Lutgarda C. Baquiran-Peralta, DBP Corporate Secretary, dated 21 February 2008, and the Certificate of Availability of Funds issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer shall be made as integral part of this Ordinance.
