A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING PROFOUND SYMPATHY AND CONDOLENCES TO THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF FORMER BRGY. KGD. SAMUEL S. MEDRANO OF STA. RITA, OLONGAPO CITY

WHEREAS, the City of Olongapo once again experienced a great loss with the demise of Mr. Manuel S. Medrano, a former Barangay Kgd. of Brgy. Sta. Rita, this City who joined our Creator on April 26, 2008 at the age of 58;

WHEREAS, “Sammy” as he was called by many, was a true public servant who rendered genuine, dedicated and responsive service to the people of Olongapo particularly to his home barangay. It is with his compassionate and formidable character that he gained the trust, respect and love of his constituents, as proven by the length of service he was able to render them. From being a volunteer Barangay Tanod, he became a Barangay Kgd. in CY 1988 up to CY 2007, a total of more than 19 years of committed service. He served as the Chairman of the Brgy. Committees on Peace and Order and on Ways and Means;

WHEREAS, Mr. Samuel Medrano was married to Mrs. Eva Medrano, blessed with two sons and presently with five grandchildren. They endearly remember him as a responsible, loving and hardworking husband and father;

WHEREAS, the life of Mr. Samuel Medrano was enriched by values, lessons and selfless leadership that can inspire many;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to express, as it hereby expresses Profound Sympathy And Condolences To The Bereaved Family Of Former Brgy. Kgd. Samuel S. Medrano Of Sta. Rita, Olongapo City.
