RESOLUTION NO. 146
(Series of 2008)

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REHABILITATION OF ERODED ROAD SHOULDER ALONG LONG ROAD, BETWEEN BLOCK 15TH AND BLOCK16TH OF BARANGAY GORDON HEIGHTS, OLONGAPO CITY

WHEREAS, the City puts in place necessary infrastructure and road projects in different barangays of the city to match the needs of the community and serve as frameworks to sustain upcoming programs, which includes the repair of Long Road, Barangay Gordon Heights in this City;

WHEREAS, with reference to the landslide incident which was reported 21 July 2008 and 20 August 2008 by the Engineering Office, it is endorsed that immediate rehabilitation of the collapsed stone masonry slope protection is urgently necessary;

WHEREAS, the Committee of Public Works and Engineering assessed the said project and is worthy of project implementation;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Anselmo A. Aquino, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to approve as it hereby approves The Rehabilitation Of Eroded Road Shoulder Along Long Road Between Block 15th And 16th Of Barangay Gordon Heights, Olongapo City.
