In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Gina Gulanes-Perez, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 72
(Series of 2008)

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TO CHARGE THE PREVIOUS YEAR’S OBLIGATION IN THE AMOUNT OF THIRTY THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY FIVE PESOS AND 77/100 (PhP33,995.77) TO THE 2008 BUDGET OF THE ITEMS SUBSIDY TO OPERATING UNITS AND DONATIONS UNDER MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE CITY SOCIAL WELFARE & DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (CSWDO)

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Thirty Three Thousand Pesos Nine Hundred Ninety Five and 77/100 (PhP33,995.77) as the Previous Year’s obligation is hereby charged to the 2008 Budget to items under Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of the City Social Welfare & Development Office, to wit:.


SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter-request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon Jr., dated 19 December 2008 shall be made as an integral part of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
