A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A DEED OF DONATION WITH THE CITY OF GENEVA, SWITZERLAND OR ANY OF ITS INSTRUMENTALITIES FOR THE DONATION OF VARIOUS FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING MATERIALS

WHEREAS, the City Government of Geneva, Switzerland and Olongapo City Government are global partners for the mutual development of both government units;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Geneva, Switzerland has goods, firefighting equipment and training materials which will be great help to the people of Olongapo;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Geneva, Switzerland and or any of its instrumentalities have surplus firefighting equipment and training materials for donation to a progressive government unit;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo is willing to accept said donation to augment the firefighting capacity of the City to further protect its constituents;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor to enter into a Deed Of Donation with the City Of Geneva, Switzerland or any of its instrumentalities for the donation of various firefighting equipment and training materials.

Let a copy of this resolution be furnished to the City of Geneva, Switzerland for their information and guidance.
