A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING FELICITATIONS TO BRO. MIKE Z. VELARDE, SERVANT LEADER OF EL SHADDAI AND SIS. BELEN VELARDE, ON THE OCCASION OF THE HOLDING OF A MASS AND HEALING RALLY HELD AT REMY FIELD, SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE (SBFZ) ON JULY 9, 2009

WHEREAS, Bro. Mike Velarde, servant leader of El Shaddai, together with Sis. Belen Velarde, led the multitude of followers in a mass and healing rally at Remy Field, SBFZ on July 9, 2009;

WHEREAS, the mass and healing rally is a Eucharistic Celebration highlighted by the preaching of the Gospel. It centers on the theme, “Happy and Prosperous” which is a relevant positive note in difficult times;

WHEREAS, the activities are part of the propagation of the Word of God, attended by people from all walks of life to listen, pray, worship and be healed;

WHEREAS, through the efforts of Buhay Party List Representative Carissa Coscolluela, the coming of Bro. Mike was made possible, this aside from the party’s donations such as patrol vans and infrastructure projects in the City;

WHEREAS, the people of Olongapo and surrounding towns are grateful for this opportunity to be visited by a respected religious leader and share his gift of healing and the goodness of God;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to express, as it hereby expresses, felicitations to Bro. Mike Z. Velarde, servant leader of El Shaddai and Sis. Belen Velarde, on the occasion of the holding of a mass and healing rally held at Remy Field, Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ) on July 9, 2009.
