In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Aquilino Y. Cortez, Jr. with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 32

AN ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY CLOSING PORTION OF THE RAMON MAGSAYSAY (RM) DRIVE (FROM THE CORNER OF GORDON AVENUE TO UNITY FOUNTAIN ROTONDA, RIZAL AVENUE) TO TRAFFIC FROM 10:00 AM OF OCTOBER 29, 2009 UNTIL 12:00 MN OF OCTOBER 31, 2009 AS VENUE FOR THE OCTOBER MARDI GRAS, THE ULO NG APO FESTIVAL 2009

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The Unity Fountain Rotonda up to corner of Gordon Avenue is declared temporarily closed from 10:00 A.M. of October 29, 2009 until 12:00 MN of October 31, 2009.

SECTION 2. The above- mentioned temporary closure is in line with the celebration of the October Mardi Gras, The Ulo ng Apo Festival 2009 spearheaded by the Olongapo Business Club on October 29, 30 and 31, 2009.

SECTION 3. Re – routing of vehicles to be outlined by the Office of the Traffic Management and Public Safety is necessary during the said closure.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
