A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GORDON COLLEGE PRESIDENT ARLIDA M. PAME TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) BY AND BETWEEN PHILIPPINE ORTHOPEDIC CENTER REPRESENTED BY ITS CHIEF OF HOSPITAL TEODORO R. CASTRO, M.D. AND GORDON COLLEGE FOR THE TRAINING OF ITS HEALTH SCIENCE STUDENTS IN FULFILLMENT OF THEIR COURSE REQUIREMENTS
WHEREAS, Gordon College with business and postal address at Old Hospital Road, East Tapinac, Olongapo City is a duly recognized institution;
WHEREAS, Philippine Orthopedic Center located in Maria Clara corner Banawe Streets is a duly registered tertiary care-capable hospital of at least one hundred-bed capacity and eighty percent annual occupancy rate per month;
WHEREAS, Gordon College proposes for the affiliation and training of its Health Science students at Philippine Orthopedic Center in fulfillment of their course requirements and further accedes to the policies and regulations of Administrative Order No. 5-A, Series of 1996 of the Department of Health;
WHEREAS, Philippine Orthopedic Center is ready to accept students for training and completion of the said requirements under the supervision of fully trained and competent clinical instructors or training coordinators;
NOW, THEREFORE, on joint motion of City Councilors Jonathan G. Manalo, and Angelito W. Baloy with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes Gordon College President Arlida M. Pame to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) by and between Philippine Orthopedic Center represented by its Chief of Hospital Teodoro R. Castro, M.D. and Gordon College for the training of its Health Science Students in fulfillment of their course requirements.
