A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AURA COLLEGE TO INITIATE THE RENOVATION OF THE MONUMENT OF SENATOR NINOY AQUINO

LOCATED AT THE RIZAL TRIANGLE

 WHEREAS, Aura College of Subic Bay Freeeport Zone through Dr. Armin Santos expressed its interest to initiate the renovation of the monument of Senator Ninoy Aquino located at the Rizal Triangle;

WHEREAS, The monument is proposed to be put in a concrete pedestal with plant decorative materials to highlight the monument;

WHEREAS, the cost of the proposed renovation shall be shouldered by Aura college at no expense to the City Government;

WHEREAS, the renovation will be done for a period of 6 months upon the approval of this resolution, October 16, 2013 until April 16, 2014;

WHEREAS, The Parks and Plaza Management Office will oversee the renovation and shall serve as the Coordinator on the part of the City Government for the said project;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Emerito Linus D. Bacay, with the unanimous accord of the Members of SangguniangPanlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the SangguniangPanlungsod in the session assembled, to authorize , as it hereby authorizes Aura College to initiate the renovation of the monument of Senator Ninoy Aquino located at the Rizal Triangle.
