WHEREAS, on November 6, 2013, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Olongapo passed an Ordinance amending certain sections of Ordinance No. 64, Series of 2007 otherwise known as the “Olongapo City 2007 Revenue Code”;

WHEREAS, on November 23, 2013, Hon. Rolen C. Paulino, City Mayor, Olongapo City approved and signed the said ordinance into law;

WHEREAS, the Office of the Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer and Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod received a letter from Mr. Neal C. Perez, Head, Business Permit and Licensing Office dated December 16, 2013  requesting legislation for the purpose of certain corrections relative to Ordinance No. 23, Series of 2013;

WHEREAS, copy of the letter of request from Mr. Neal C.  Perez dated December 16, 2013 addressed to the Vice-Mayor and the Members of the City Council shall be an integral part of this Ordinance;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Noel Yabut Atienza, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to enact the following Ordinance:

ARTICLE A. MAYOR’S PERMIT FEES

Section 4A Mayor’s Permit Fee on Business – There shall be an annual fee at the rate provided hereunder for the issuance of a Mayor’s Permit Fee to every person or entity who shall conduct a business trade or activity within the City of Olongapo.

Section 4A. 01a Retailers/ Re-packers, Independent Wholesalers and Distributors

1.      Gasoline & other flammable, combustible or explosive substances           Php 10,000.00

2.      Non flammable combustible or non explosive/Hardware and

      Construction Supplies                                                                    Php   7,000.00

3.      Supermarket/ Pharmacy/ Drugstores/ Department Store                 Php   5,000.00

4.      On Mini Marts, Mini Grocery & other Small Retailer                     Php   1,500.00

5.      Sari-Sari Stores & other Small Retailers                                         Php      600.00

is hereby amended to read as follows:
