A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHIES AND HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES  TO  THE  BEREAVED  FAMILY  OF CITY COUNCILOR HONORABLE EDNA A. ELANE FOR THE UNTIMELY DEMISE OF

 HER DAUGHTER, JONI MAE A. ELANE, FORMER BARANGAY

KAGAWAD OF BARANGAY  NEW ASINAN

WHEREAS, the untimely demise of Joni Mae A. Elane, eldest daughter of City Councilor Edna A. Elane, on April 1, 2014 brought sadness to her family, friends and to the constituents she served as a former public official;

WHEREAS, "Joni" or "Mae" as fondly called by her family and friends was a public servant who ranked number one as a Barangay Council Member of Barangay New Asinan from 2010 to 2013. With her abilities and capabilities, she actively took part in various activities and projects that benefited the people of Barangay New Asinan. Also, she offered her assistance in various endeavors of her Barangay;

WHEREAS, the 30-year-old former Barangay Kagawad is the first of two daughters of Mr. Manuel Elane and  City Councilor Edna Elane. During her lifetime, she was known to be a jolly and a highly-spirited young woman who loved to help her family and her colleagues to the best that she could. She was a loving daughter, a caring mother to her one-year-old son, an understanding partner, a thoughtful sister and a cheerful person to her friends and loved ones;

WHEREAS, she was profoundly loved and respected that her sudden demise has brought deep sorrow but her benevolence and her compassion will always be remembered not only by her family and friends, but also by the people whom she touched lives;

WHEREAS, the entire officialdom of Olongapo City joins the bereaved family of City Councilor Edna A. Elane for the untimely demise of her daughter Joni Mae and may our Almighty God grant her soul eternal rest and peace in His glorious kingdom;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to express, as it hereby expresses deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of City Councilor Honorable Edna A. Elane for the untimely demise of her daughter Joni Mae A. Elane former Barangay Kagawad of Barangay New Asinan.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to the bereaved family of Joni Mae A. Elane as token of our respect and recognition of a good woman who served our City as a Barangay Council Member.
