RESOLUTION NO. 93

A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND COMMENDING MR. SAMSON S. BUQUERON ED. D., FOR PASSING THE SCHOOLS DIVISION SUPERINTENDENTS EXAMINATION HELD ON THE 17^TH DAY OF MARCH 2015, AT THE FORT BONIFACIO HIGH SCHOOL, MAKATI CITY.

WHEREAS, in Section 1 of the DepEd Order No. 88, Series of 2012 Entitled “Conduct of the Schools Division Superintendents Examination” states that:

“The Schools Division Superintendents Examination, otherwise known as the Educational Management Test (EMT) shall be administered by the Department of Education (DepEd) every five years unless otherwise recommended by the DepEd executive committee due to existing vacancies. The date of examination shall be determined by the said committee as per recommendation of the board of examiners and shall be announced in a separate memorandum”;

WHEREAS, in Section 3 of the said order, the passing grade for the EMT shall be seventy five percent (75%) and same shall be a prerequisite for appointment to Assistant Schools Division Superintendent/City Superintendent (ASDS) and Schools Division/City Superintendent (SDS) positions;

WHEREAS, DepEd Memorandum No. 30, Series of 2015 entitled “Administration of the 2015 Schools Division Superintendents Examination”, announced that through the National Education Testing and Research Center (NETRC), DepEd shall administer the EMT on the 17^th day of May 2015 at the Fort Bonifacio High School located at the J.P. Rizal Extension, West Rembo, Makati City for the examiners with the following qualifications and requirements:

  

WHEREAS, Mr.Samson S. Buqueron Ed. D., a Education Program Supervisor of DepEd’s Schools Division Office of Olongapo City is a qualified EMT examinee and has fulfilled the above requirements as stated in Section 4 of the DepEd Memorandum No. 30, Series of 2015;

WHEREAS, Section 3 of the DepEd Memorandum No. 90, Series of 2015, dated August 19, 2015, entitled: “Announcement on the Qualifiers in the 2015 Educational Management Test (EMT)” states that, “a total of 94 out of 541 examinees passed the examination”. Enclosed report containing the alphabetical Master list of EMT Passers from the same memorandum indicated Mr.Samson S. Buqueron Ed. D., of  region III has passed the said exam; the same shall also be available at the DepEd Website: www.deped.gov.ph and  Individual Certificates of Rating (CORs) will be issued through the National  Education Testing and Research Center (NETRC);

WHEREAS, the outstanding performance of MR. SAMSON S. BUQUERON ED. D., deserves to be congratulated and commended for the pride and honor he has brought to the City;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Benjamin G. Cajudo II, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate and commend as it hereby congratulates and commends Mr. Samson S. Buqueron Ed. D., for passing the Schools Division Superintendents Examination held on the 17^th day of March 2015, at the Fort Bonifacio High School, Makati City.
