A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND COMMENDING MR. JESSIE D. FERRER, CESO V FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE ADJUSTED CAREER EXECUTIVE SERVICE OFFICER RANKS AS RECOMMENDED TO HIS EXCELLENCY BENIGNO S. AQUINO III BY THE CAREER EXECUTIVE SERVICE BOARD

WHEREAS, the Career Executive Service Board (CESB) is the governing body of the Career Executive Service (CES) which is mandated to promulgate rules, standards and procedures on the selection, classification , compensation, and career development of CES members ;

WHEREAS, CESB approved Board Resolution No. 22 entitled: “Recommendation to His Excellency Benigno S. Aquino III for the adjustment in the Career Executive Service Officer rank of five (5) Career Executive Service Officers” on May 27, 2015 in Cebu City;

WHEREAS, it is indicated in the said Board Resolution that the appointment to appropriate rank in the CES is made by the President upon the recommendation of the CESB;

WHEREAS, Mr. Jessie D. Ferrer, CESO V, Division of City Schools Superintendent – Department of Education of Olongapo City has fulfilled the recommended requirements for the adjustment to higher rank pursuant to the CESB Resolution No. 798 Series of 2009 –“Revised Rules and Procedures on Original and Promotional Appointments to Career Executive Service Ranks” and

CESB Resolution No. 1100 Series of 2013 – “Amendatory Guidelines to the Performance Rating

Requirements for Original Appointment to, and Adjustment in Rank”;

WHEREAS, Mr. Ferrer was is among the five (5) Career Executive Service Officers who advanced from the ranks of CESO VI to V recommended to the President by the CESB;

WHEREAS, Mr. Ferrer has served as Superintendent of DepEd’s Schools Division Office of Olongapo City since November 2014. He also served as the OIC-Schools Superintendent of the same Division Office from February 2012 to November 2014. He was also a Teacher in the Department of Education Culture and Sports – Olongapo City from the year 1988 to 1999;

WHEREAS, the outstanding performance of Mr. Jessie D. Ferrer, CESO V, deserves to be congratulated and commended for the pride and honor he has brought to the City;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Benjamin G. Cajudo II, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate and commend, as it hereby congratulates and commends, Mr. Jessie D. Ferrer, CESO V for the Completion of the Adjusted Career Executive Service Officer Ranks as Recommended to His Excellency Benigno S. Aquino III by the Career Executive Service Board.
