In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Gregorio A. Manglicmot, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 105 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY THREE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY THREE PESOS (PHP523,423.00) TO THE ITEM OFFICE SUPPLIES UNDER THE MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY TREASURER

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Five Hundred Twenty Three Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Three Pesos (PhP523,423 00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the item Otfice Supplies under the Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of the Office of the City Treasurer to cover the cost of the needed supplies and accountable forms.

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated August 29, 2003, the letter request dated August 4, 2003 and Certificate of Availability of Funds dated September 2, 2003, issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
