In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Gregorio A. Manglicmot, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 106 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION ONE HUNDRED SIXTY FOUR THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED TWENTY PESOS (PHP1,164,120.00) TO THE ITEM MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES AND CAPITAL OUTLAY UNDER THE JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of One Million One Hundred Sixty Four Thousand One Hundred Twenty Pesos (PhP1, 164, 12000) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available for the purchase of various hospital supplies and equipment at the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital to wit:

SECTION 2. This appropnation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated August 29, 2003, quotation of AMHSCO dated 18 August 2003 and Purchase Request No. 143-03 dated 12 August 2003, and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated September 2, 2003, issued by Me Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
