WHEREAS, the City of Olongapo owns by virtue of donation by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources a Patrol Boat to be used for the purpose of monitoring illegal fishing, piracy in the seashores and within its territorial boundaries;

WHEREAS, this boat will also be useful to pursue the peace and order campaign of the city at the sea;

WHEREAS, environmental concerns like protecting our water resource from pollution and the pursuit of a clean waterways may also be boosted by the use of this patrol boat;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 47
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE FISHPORT AT BARANGAY BANICAIN
AND THE DRIFTWOOD BEACH BOARDWALK KNOWN AS “PIER B”
AT BARANGAY BARRETTO DOCKING AREAS OF THE CITY’S
PATROL BOAT

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The Fishport at Barangay Banicain and the Driftwood Beach Boardwalk known as “Pier B” at Barangay Barretto, both in this City are hereby declared
as official docking areas of the City’s Patrol Boat.

SECTION 2. That the City Mayor’s letter dated June 8, 2005 form as integral part of this Ordinance

SECTION 3. That copies of this Ordinance be furnished to all concerned departments and barangay officials of the city for their information and guidance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
