RESOLUTION NO. 107
(Series of 2005)

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF BARANGAY BARRETTO FOR A PERMIT TO OPERATE A MINI FAIR FROM SEPTEMBER 7, 2005
UP TO SEPTEMBER 30, 2005 IN CELEBRATION OF
THEIR BARANGAY FIESTA


WHEREAS, carnivals and mini-fairs established in conjunction with fiestas are good income generating means to fund projects of good causes;

WHEREAS, Barangay Barretto, one of the barangays that will celebrate their barangay fiesta, requested the Sangguniang Panlungsod permission to operate a mini fair in connection with their barangay fiesta as a fund raising activity for various projects;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod hereby grants the request of Barangay Barretto and deems that the setting up of a mini fair from September 7, 2005 up to September 30, 2005 is in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 49, Series of 2005;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, sponsored by Councilor Marey Beth D. Marzan and with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to approve, as it hereby approves the request of Barangay Barretto for a permit to operate a mini fair from September 7, 2005 up to September 30, 2005 in celebration of their barangay fiesta.
