In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Gina G. Perez, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 21
(Series of 2006)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT ONE HUNDRED
TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP120,000.00) UNDER MAINTENANCE & OTHER OPERATING EXPENSE OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (PhP120,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available under Maintenance & Other Operating Expense of the Office of the City Mayor to wit:

Office Supplies Expense PhP60,000.00
Representation Expense 60,000.00

Total PhP120,000.00

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated 26 April 2006, the memorandum from Hon. Gina G. Perez dated 12 April 2006 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated 26 April 2006 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.
