RESOLUTION NO. 154
(Series of 2006)

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE HONESTY AND GOOD WORK
OF TRICYCLE DRIVER, MR. ARNEL PANTOJA, FROM BARANGAY KALAKLAN, WHO FOUND AND BENEVOLENTLY RETURNED A LOST MOBILE PHONE TO ITS OWNER


WHEREAS, early this month, a report was received by the office of Councilor Brian Patrick Gordon that a cellphone was lost by the owner while on board a tricycle;

WHEREAS, driver Arnel Pantoja, noticing the cellphone left in his tricycle, without a doubt, immediately looked for and located the owner of the said communication device;

WHEREAS, Pantoja’s abiding sturdy principles kept him firmly in the right course leading to the successful return of the lost cellphone to its rightful owner;

WHEREAS, the City is proud that Mr. Pantoja’s honesty and emulative character proved that the people behind the City’s transport force never refused to do good in the event of call and in the absence of public scrutiny and monetary reward;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo once again stood proud of Olongapeños who instilled commendable values in them despite hardships of life;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to commend, as it hereby commends the honesty and good work of tricycle driver, Mr. Arnel Pantoja, from Barangay Kalaklan, who found and benevolently returned a lost mobile phone to its owner.

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished Mr. Arnel Pantoja for his information and record.
