RESOLUTION NO. 125
(Series of 2008)

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT OF LEASE WITH 8SCR TRADING CORPORATION REPRESENTED BY CONCHITA E. PAREDES FOR THE OPERATION OF A COFFEE LOUNGE LOCATED AT THE OLONGAPO CITY HALL VERANDA

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 108, Series of 2008 declares the Olongapo City Hall veranda as a commercial area available for lease;

WHEREAS, attached to the said Resolution is City Appraisal Committee Resolution No. 5, Series of 2008 from the Office of the City Assessor, appraising the area with a floor lease rate of Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00) per square meter per month;

WHEREAS, Mrs. Conchita E. Paredes expressed her intention to lease ten square meters (10 sq. m.) out of the total seventy three point forty five square meters (73.45 sq. m.) leasable area;

WHEREAS, the said lease excludes the use and consumption of any utility from the City;

WHEREAS, the said lease shall cover the period of one (1) year starting from the date of implementation of the contract of lease;

NOW, THEREFORE, on joint motion of Councilors Angelito W. Baloy and Elena C. Dabu, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. to enter into a contract of lease with 8SCR Trading Corporation represented by Conchita E. Paredes for the operation of a coffee lounge located at the Olongapo City Hall Veranda.
