A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE SUBIC BAY METROPOLITAN AUTHORITY FOR THE USE OF THE OLONGAPO CITY SANITARY LANDFILL AND FOR OTHER RELATED PURPOSES


WHEREAS, socio-economic benefits will be reaped by the City if the utility of the Olongapo City Sanitary Landfill would be maximized;

WHEREAS, with appropriate safeguards and controls, the interests of the local community would be amply protected;

WHEREAS, the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority desires to enter into an agreement with the City while respecting our primary right over the control and use of the City’s Sanitary Landfill;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Aquilino Y. Cortez, Jr., with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes The City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. To Enter Into A Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) With The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority For The Use Of The Olongapo City Sanitary Landfill And For Other Related Purposes.
