In the interest of public service and motion of Councilor Gina G. Perez, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 67
(Series of 2007)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FOUR MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP4,400,000.00) TO BE TAKEN FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCES OF THE SPECIAL ACCOUNT – GORDON COLLEGE UNDER THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PAYMENT OF CONSULTANCY FEES OF THE GORDON COLLEGE


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Four Million Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP4,400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balances of the Special Account – Gordon College and the same shall be transferred to the General Fund for the payment of Consultancy Fees for the Gordon College.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter-request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated December 18, 2007, letter from Arlida M. Pame, President, Gordon College, dated December 17, 2007 and a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated December 18, 2007 issued by Mr. Marcelino C. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.
