In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Jonathan G. Manalo, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 10
(Series of 2009)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FOUR MILLION SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY ONE PESOS AND 49/100 (PhP4,785,981.49) TO THE 20% DEVELOPMENT FUND- CAPITAL OUTLAY FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE 2009 BUDGET FOR THE PRIORITY PROJECTS FOR BUDGET YEAR 2009.

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Four Million Seven Hundred Eighty Five Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty One Pesos 49/100 ( PhP4,785,981.49) to the 20% Development Fund- Capital outlay from the Unappropriated Balance of the 2009 budget is hereby appropriated for the following projects, to wit:

Approved 2009 Priority Projects( see attached request) 2,939,178.79
Total PhP4,785,981.49

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.


SECTION 3. The pertinent letter-request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. dated February 18, 2009 and the Certificate of Availability of Fund from the City Treasurer shall be made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
