Pursuant to the provision of Republic Act 7160 otherwise known as the “Local government Code of 1991” and the provisions of Local Budget memorandum No. 57 issued by the Department of Budget and Management dated 11 July 2008 which specifically prescribe the guidelines in the preparation and submission of the Supplemental Budget,

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Jonathan G. Manalo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 26

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVEN AND 44/100 (PHP1,827,707.44 ) FOR THE MANDATORY 5% CALAMITY FUND AS SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2009


SECTION 1. The amount of One Million Eight Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Seven and 44/100 (PhP1,827,707.44) is hereby approved and appropriated as Supplemental Budget for Calendar Year 2009 to the General Fund.

SECTION 2. Source of fund:

SECTION 3. Use of Funds - The amount of One Million Eight Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Seven and 44/100 (PhP1,827,707.44 ) is hereby appropriated for the 5% mandatory calamity fund.

SECTION 4. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 5. The Supplemental Budget Form No.1 (one page) and Form No. 2 (one page) shall be made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 6. This appropriation ordinance is to augment the deficiency in Ordinance No. 24 Series of 2009.
