A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING HEARTFELT SYMPATHIES AND CONDOLENCES TO THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF MR. ALEJANDRO M. GREGORIO
WHEREAS, Alejandro Macaraeg Gregorio peacefully joined our Creator on June 6, 2010 at the age of 75;
WHEREAS, ‘Manong Andy’ as he was dearly called, was a gentle and responsible man who showed true commitment to the Spirit of Volunteerism, being one of the original volunteers of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, an active leader-volunteer in many city events such as the City Fiesta Affairs and Beautification Programs of the city. He was a recipient of various awards from the city and from different civic and business organizations;
WHEREAS, his industry as a Supply Technician of the US Naval Supply Depot (NSD) for 35 years earned him awards and commendations for his outstanding service;
WHEREAS, Manong Andy, the eldest of 9 children of Ernesto Gregorio, Sr. and Marcelina Gregorio was survived by his sisters Coney Gregorio-Leyva, Rexy Gregorio-Cruz, Sally M. Gregorio, Ting Gregorio-Farrales and by his brother Ernesto Gregorio, Jr. He will be remembered as a loving, sweet and supportive kuya, uncle and lolo by his family;
WHEREAS, in every endeavor, the spirit should touch the heart, Mr. Andy Gregorio touched many people’s lives as he was a thoughtful friend, a compassionate citizen, a dedicated employee, a humble man and a generous and an indefatigable volunteer;
WHEREAS, deserving of a posthumous recognition, Mr. Andy Gregorio is recognized as a man who had distinguished himself in his life work, had shared his talent with his community on a voluntary basis, had a continued service to God and his country, his death is truly a loss to our city.
NOW THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to express, as it hereby expresses heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family of Mr. Alejandro M. Gregorio.
Let a copy of this resolution be furnished to the bereaved family.
