A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 01, SERIES OF 2009 OF THE BARANGAY PAG-ASA OPERATIVE IN ITS ENTIRETY SUBJECT TO SOME CONDITIONS

WHEREAS, Appropriation Ordinance No. 01, Series of 2009 of the Barangay Pag-asa authorizing its Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2010, involving an appropriation of Three Million Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Eight & 98/100 Pesos (PhP3,014,508.98), was submitted to Sangguniang Panlungsod of Olongapo for review pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7160;

WHEREAS, subject Appropriation Ordinance shows substantial compliance with the same law and its Implementing Rules and Regulations;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to declare, as it hereby declares the Appropriation Ordinance No. 01, Series of 2009 of the Barangay Pag-asa operative in its entirety, effective upon approval subject to the posting requirements under Section 59 of R.A. No. 7160;

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that this review action does not authorize any item of appropriation that is specifically prohibited by or inconsistent with the provisions of laws and that compliance with all existing laws, rules and regulations shall be the responsibility of Barangay Pag-asa.

Let copies of this Resolution be furnished the Sangguniang Barangay of Pag-asa.
