A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR HONORABLE ROLEN C. PAULINO, TO ENTER INTO A MUTUAL ACCREDITATION AGREEMENT FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, THIS CITY WITH THE UNITED COCONUT PLANTERS BANK LIFE ASSURANCE CORPORATION REPRESENTED BY ITS PRESIDENT, ATTY. ALFREDO C. TUMACDER

WHEREAS, the United Coconut Planters Bank Life Assurance Corporation, is a company engaged in the promotion and marketing of its health care programs consisting of preventive health care, in-patient and out-patient services;

WHEREAS, the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital is a tertiary medical facility owned by the Local Government of Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, the aforesaid company can only accomplish its tasks through its accreditation to a hospital that provides excellent medical facility and quality care, such as the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital;

WHEREAS, the City deems to authorize the City Mayor for and on behalf of the James L. Gordon Hospital to enter into an agreement with the United Coconut Planters Bank Life Assurance Corporation regarding their health care package;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Eduardo G. Guerrero, with the unanimous accord of the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor, Honorable  Rolen C. Paulino, to enter into a mutual accreditation agreement for and on behalf of the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, this City with the United Coconut Planters Bank Life Assurance Corporation represented by its President, Atty. Alfredo C. Tumacder.
