A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION AND GRATITUDE TO UNIVERSITY

 OF CORDILLERAS THROUGH ITS COMMUNITY ARM, PROJECT H.E.L.E.N. REPRESENTED BY DRA LEONARDA R. AGUINALDE IN HER CAPACITY AS VICE-PRESIDENT FOR ADMINISTRATION AND CENTER FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) DIRECTOR FOR DONATING NUMEROUS BOOKS, TWO (2) KITS OF K-12 AND FIVE (5) WHEELCHAIRS TO SEVERAL ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS LOCATED IN

 THE CITY OF OLONGAPO

            WHEREAS, University of Cordilleras organized and instituted Project H.E.L.E.N which stands for Health, Education, Livelihood, Environment and Nurturance Program;

            WHEREAS, one of the projects of Project H.E.L.E.N is rendering assistance to basic education through Book Donation Program and Wheelchair Donation Program;

            WHEREAS, University of Cordilleras through its community arm, Project H.E.L.E.N represented by Dra. Leonarda R. Aguinalde in her capacity as Vice-President for Administration to donate Six Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Three (6,863) units and two (2) kits of K-12 books and (5) Wheelchairs;

            WHEREAS, donations will benefits Ten (10) Academic institutions based in the City of Olongapo namely:

1.      Olongapo City National High School

2.      Old Cabalan Integrated School

3.      New Cabalan High School

4.      Sta Rita High School

5.      Sergia Soriano Integrated School

6.      Kalalake High School

   Gordon Heights High School

8.      St. Joseph College-High School

9.      Barretto II Elementary School

10.  East Tapinac Elementary School

WHEREAS, the proposed donation is made through the effort of Ms. Cecilia Obispo Santiago Batch 83’ of Saint Joseph College and true blood Olongapeno;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting to commend and extend our deepest gratitude to benevolent act of University of Cordilleras who have greatly contributed to the enhancement of educational capabilities our students here in the City of Olongapo;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of  City Councilors Alreuela M. Bundang-Ortiz and Noel Y. Atienza, with unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod  present,

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to commend and gratitude as it hereby commends and gratitudes  to University Of Cordilleras through its Community Arm, Project H.E.L.E.N. represented by Dra Leonarda R. Aguinalde in her capacity as Vice-President for Administration and Center for Social Responsibility (CSR) Director for donating numerous books, two (2) kits of K-12 and five (5) wheelchairs to several academic institutions located in the City Of Olongapo.

Let copy of this resolution be furnished University of Cordilleras through its community arm, Project H.E.L.E.N. represented by Dra. Leonarda R. Aguinalde in her capacity as Vice-President for Administration and Center for Social Responsibility (CSR) Director.
