A RESOLUTION COMMENDING SAMUEL THOMAS HARPER MORRISON FOR WINNING A  BRONZE MEDAL  IN THE 17^TH ASIAN GAMES 2014 TAEKWANDO EVENT

HELD AT INCHEON, SOUTH KOREA ON SEPTEMBER 19–OCTOBER 4, 2014

WHEREAS, the 2014 Asian Games, is the biggest sports event in Asia governed by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).  It is a multi-sports activity which participated in by several countries;

WHEREAS, Mr. Samuel Thomas Harper  Morrison reaped a Bronze Medal in the 17^th Asian Games 2014 Taekwando Event held at  Incheon, South Korea on September 19 up to October  4,  2014;

WHEREAS, Samuel Thomas Harper  Morrison also known as “Butch”, is the son of  Mrs. Emma Barias-Morrison & Samuel Morrison.  He  was born in Olongapo City on March 26, 1990 and  is presently residing at   #38 Holy Spirit Drive Tabacuhan, Sta. Rita, Olongapo City.  A true pride of Olongapo, Samuel Thomas Harper Morrison  is a member of the National Taekwando Team;

WHEREAS, the outstanding performance of our athlete Samuel Thomas Harper  Morrison deserves to be commended for the honor and recognition he brought not only for our city but also for our country.

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to commend, as it hereby commends, Samuel Thomas Harper  Morrison for winning  a Bronze Medal in the  17^TH Asian Games 2014 Taekwando Event  held at Incheon, South Korea on September  19 - October  4, 2014.
