A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF THE LATE HON. JANTZEN ROQUE ARCALAS, FORMER SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK) CHAIRMAN OF BARANGAY NEW KALALAKE

WHEREAS, Hon. Jantzen R. Arcalas, 39 years old and born on October 4,1975 is the former Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman of Barangay Kalalake, Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, he died in the Grace of our Lord on April 15, 2015, leaving his wife Jerichelle Arcalas, two children Hanes Yuriel Arcalas and Hanna Eriyelle Arcalas, and his parents Benjamin Arcalas and Alicia Roque in utmost grief and sorrow;  

WHEREAS, Jantzen, as fondly known to many, was an active youth leader who served as Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman of Barangay New Kalalake for five (5) years from 1996 to 2002 and served as a former member of Civilian Security Service Unit (CSSU) for two (2) years;

WHEREAS, during his term as Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman, he had shown unblemished dedication to the community which he served wholeheartedly;

WHEREAS, true to his leadership position, he emphasized the rights and capabilities of the youth and participated in activities and supported the various programs and projects of Barangay New Kalalake and the City of Olongapo;

WHEREAS, the family and friends of Jantzen considered his demise a great loss and he will be missed so dearly.

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Randy C. Sionzon, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to express, as it hereby expresses deepest condolences to the bereaved family of the late Hon. Jantzen Roque Arcalas, former Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman of Barangay New Kalalake.

Let a copy of this resolution be furnished to his family and Barangay New Kalalake for their information.
