A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR, HONORABLE ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO AND SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

WITH THE  KOREAN VOLUNTEERS/RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION OF SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE WITH REGARD TO SOCIO-CIVIC ACTIVITIES AND DONATIONS TO BENEFIT CHILDREN FROM INDIGENT FAMILIES

WHEREAS, Olongapo recognizes and appreciates its partnership with different communities, the  Korean Volunteers/Residents Association of Subic Bay Freeport Zone as one, in various developmental endeavors;

 WHEREAS, part of their social responsibility thrusts is geared towards sponsoring feeding program or meal provisions for  children from the  poorest of the poor families,  health and wellness, educational, aesthetic, musical and arts  developmental programs; 

WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding to be entered into by Olongapo City is deemed necessary for  the sustainability of the program  all for the benefit of the disadvantaged families in the City;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Edna A. Elane, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

  RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor, Honorable Rolen C. Paulino to enter into and sign a  Memorandum of Understanding with the  Korean Volunteers/Residents Association of Subic Bay Freeport Zone with regard to socio-civic activities and donations to benefit children from indigent families.
