A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR HON. ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO AND SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF OLONGAPO WITH THE COLORVIEW, CATV

 INC. REPRESENTED BY MS. JULIETA A. PABUSTAN REGARDING THE BROADCAST/CABLE CAST SERVICES OVER COLORVIEW’S CABLE

 TELEVISED SYSTEM

WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo (CGO) aims to provide an up-to-date and significant announcements, bulletins and advisories, and viewing of the Mayor’s Corner program and the conduct of the Sangguniang Panlungsod regular session, collectively referred to as “Public Service Broadcasts;

WHEREAS, the Colorview CATV, Inc. has been a partner of the City in providing assistance with respect to the delivery and dissemination of significant information to the public for the general welfare;

WHEREAS, the CGO and the Colorview CATV Inc. have agreed to be involved in the said Public Service Broadcast for public information, education and public awareness;

WHEREAS, to ensure effectiveness of the said undertaking and to set the limitations of both parties as regards the conduct of broadcasting, a Memorandum of Agreement is deemed necessary for its responsible implementations;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Benjamin G. Cajudo II, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS ITS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor Hon. Rolen C. Paulino to enter into and sign a Memorandum of Agreement for and on behalf of the City Government of Olongapo with the Colorview, CATV Inc. represented by Ms. Julieta A. Pabustan regarding the broadcast/cable cast services over Colorview’s Cable Televised System.
